La división Indy Car dio a conocer las 17 fechas que conformarán el calendario 2021 de la categoria, que se iniciará el 7 de marzo en el circuito de St Petersburg, para continuar luego con dos competencias en el mes de abril, las 500 millas de Indianápolis el domingo 30 de mayo, en tanto que se conocerá el campeón de la división, el 19 de septiembre en Laguna Seca.
Asimismo, quedaron fuera del nuevo calendario, los circuitos de Austin, Iowa y Richmond, respectivamente, que fluctuaron este año con la pandemia del Covid 19.
